AMSARA BEAUTY · PRESCRIPTION SKINCARE · ARIZONA
HRT is only part of the solution. Your skin needs its own prescription.
Hormone therapy can support skin from the inside, but it is not prescribed for your face. Amsara Beauty is: Restore and Revive, prescription face creams built on copper peptide, estriol, and SNAP-8, prescribed by your Amsara provider, compounded for you by a licensed pharmacy, and shipped with free shipping in Arizona for members and non-members.
WHAT THE PUBLISHED EVIDENCE SHOWS
Skin that feels like yours again
Two prescription formulas, matched to what you see in the mirror by a provider who understands the hormone shift behind it.

Dryness, thinning, crepiness
Falling estrogen is the cause. Restore pairs copper peptide with micronized estriol to address it where you see it.

Expression lines, too
Revive adds SNAP-8 to soften the look of lines on the forehead, around the eyes, and around the mouth.

A pea-sized amount, once a day
Panthenol, niacinamide, and hyaluronate carry hydration in both formulas. Prescribed after a visit, compounded for you. Free shipping in Arizona for members and non-members.

Figures come from published, independent studies of individual actives, not from studies of Amsara formulas. Results vary. Your provider will set expectations for your skin.
Midlife skin changes for a reason. As estrogen falls, skin loses about 30% of its collagen in the first five years of menopause, then roughly 2% a year for the next twenty (American Academy of Dermatology). Over-the-counter products cannot address that cause. Our formulas can, because they are prescription-strength and because each one restores what falling estrogen takes away.

How it works
Nothing here is bought from a shelf. Every jar begins with a conversation with your provider.

systematic review or meta-analysis randomized or controlled clinical trials small or early studies
What does GHK-Cu (copper peptide) do for menopausal skin?
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper tripeptide that signals skin to rebuild collagen and calm inflammation. It is the foundation of both Amsara formulas, and the active the others build on.
A 2026 systematic review in Aesthetic Surgery Journal covering 20 studies, including two randomized trials, found GHK-Cu increases type I collagen and glycosaminoglycan production and significantly reduced wrinkle depth and volume versus controls, while calling for larger, well-designed trials.
What does micronized estriol do for skin after menopause?
Estriol is a gentle, naturally occurring estrogen applied only to facial skin. Estrogen loss is the reason midlife skin thins, dries, and loses about 30% of its collagen in the first five years of menopause, so topical estriol restores local support without the systemic dose of hormone therapy.
A 2025 systematic review in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology of topical estradiol and estriol studies reported gains in dermal thickness, collagen, hydration, and elasticity, and noted small samples, short trials, and a need for provider oversight. The most-cited trial of topical estriol, from 1996, reported wrinkle depth and pore size decreased 61 to 100% after six months, with elasticity and firmness markedly improved. That is why every Amsara formula begins with a visit.

What does acetyl hexapeptide-8 (SNAP-8) do for expression lines?
Acetyl hexapeptide-8 is a SNAP-25-mimicking peptide that works at the skin surface to soften the look of expression lines on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes and mouth. It does not act like an injectable and it does not freeze expression.
In the clinical studies summarized in a 2025 review in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, 10% formulations reduced measured wrinkle depth by 30% at 30 days and 49% at four weeks.
What does niacinamide do for midlife skin?
Niacinamide (vitamin B3) supports the skin barrier, evens tone, and refines texture, which is why it sits alongside the peptides in both formulas.
A 2021 review in Antioxidants of split-face trials found 4% to 5% niacinamide improved fine lines, texture, and elasticity over 8 to 12 weeks and was well tolerated in a 21-day irritation test.

What does panthenol do for dry menopausal skin?
Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) is a humectant that helps skin hold water and feel comfortable, which matters most for the dryness that arrives with falling estrogen.
In three randomized studies published in Cosmetics, dexpanthenol-based creams improved skin hydration by 64% to 72% from baseline at 28 days.
Sources: Stettler et al., Cosmetics, 2021
What does sodium hyaluronate do for menopausal dryness?
Sodium hyaluronate is the salt form of hyaluronic acid, a molecule that binds many times its weight in water. Menopausal skin struggles to hold moisture on its own, and the American Academy of Dermatology specifically recommends hyaluronic acid for midlife dryness.
A 2025 randomized, placebo-controlled trial in Cosmetics found topical hyaluronic acid improved hydration, elasticity, and crow’s-feet measures versus placebo over 56 days.

A note on DMAE. DMAE is included in Restore for skin texture. The clinical evidence for it is older and limited, so we make no specific claim for it.

Frequently asked questions
What is Amsara Beauty?
Amsara Beauty is the prescription skincare collection from Amsara Health, a telehealth practice for women in midlife. It begins with two compounded face creams, Restore and Revive, prescribed after a visit with an Amsara provider for patients in Arizona and compounded for you by a licensed pharmacy. The collection is built to work alongside hormone therapy or without it, because HRT is only part of the solution for midlife skin.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Every formula in the collection is prescription-only and compounded for you by a licensed pharmacy after an Amsara provider has reviewed your health history and decided it is appropriate.
Who can order these creams?
Amsara Health patients in Arizona, after an initial visit with one of our providers. If you are not in Arizona yet, join the waitlist on our discovery call page and we will let you know as we expand.
Are these products FDA-approved?
No. They are compounded medications, prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy to a prescription written for you. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. We work only with licensed pharmacy partners and we do not prescribe research-grade peptides.
Is topical estriol the same as hormone therapy?
No. Restore and Revive deliver a low dose of estriol to facial skin for a local effect on hydration, thickness, and collagen. They are not a substitute for systemic hormone therapy and do not treat hot flashes, sleep, or mood.
Does HRT fix menopause skin?
Not on its own. A 2023 meta-analysis of 15 studies and 1,589 women found that menopausal hormone therapy increases skin collagen and elasticity, so HRT does support skin from the inside (Pivazyan et al., J. Menopausal Med. 2023). But HRT is not FDA-approved or prescribed for skin, the four-year KEEPS trial found no difference in wrinkle scores between hormone therapy and placebo (Brincat and Pollacco, 2024 review), and HRT does not address expression lines at all. Restore and Revive are prescribed for the face itself, with or without HRT, and your Amsara provider can manage both. If you are weighing hormone therapy, start with our HRT care for women.
How long until I see results?
Most women notice better hydration within the first two weeks. Expression lines typically soften over three to six weeks with acetyl hexapeptide-8, and firmness and texture changes from GHK-Cu and estriol build over eight to twelve weeks of consistent use. Results vary.
Can I use these with tretinoin or other prescription skincare?
Usually, with guidance. Your provider will set up a routine that fits what you already use. Many patients apply a retinoid at night and their Amsara cream in the morning, or alternate nights.
Do members save on prescription skincare?
Yes. Member pricing is shown beside each formula. Membership also includes free prescription renewals and priority booking; see Pricing. Prescriptions may qualify for HSA or FSA reimbursement; we provide the documentation you need.
Where are the creams made and how do they arrive?
Each cream is compounded to order by our licensed pharmacy partner and shipped directly to you in an airless jar; shipping in Arizona is free for members and non-members. Store it at room temperature and protect it from light.
Important safety information
For topical use only. Prescription only. These creams are compounded medications: they are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy for an individual patient based on a prescription from a licensed provider. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA has not evaluated them for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Your Amsara provider will decide whether a formula is appropriate for you.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Formulas containing estriol are generally not appropriate for women with a history of estrogen-sensitive cancer, unexplained vaginal bleeding, or blood clots unless your provider directs otherwise. Avoid the eye area and broken skin. Stop use and contact your provider if redness, itching, or irritation develops. Store at room temperature (68–72°F) and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
